After an initial free site visit, a design brief and quotation (for the design fee) are sent to the client. If the client wishes to go ahead, a 2D plan is then prepared and presented with an image moodboard to illustrate the plan. For an extra fee, 3D drawings and a shadow study can be produced.

If you wish to use your own contractors to build and plant your garden, detailed planting plans and detailed construction drawings can be prepared for an extra fee.

Where appropriate, laising with The Council Planning officers, architect, engineers or preservation schemes such as the Dulwich Estate scheme of management are part of the design process so is dealt with by us.

Implementation

I have developed excellent relationships with a wide range of local contractors who are used to working with me. I’m happy however to work along your team of builders/ landscapers if you prefer. In any case, I like to keep a close eye on the implementation of the garden to ensure that the end result is as intended on plan.

After sales service

The first year of a garden is key. This can be daunting especially if it’s your first garden. I offer 4 quarterly visits for the first year (free service for gardens within 3 mile radius of SE22) to help and guide you nurturing your garden and ensuring that it is shaping and establishing well.

Creative Maintenance

For the ones who already have an established garden but that need some tweeking to it, I’ll visit your garden and advise on editing existing planting. Whether it needs some dividing, removing, replacing or adding to existing planting. It can also be pruning an existing shrub to reveal its silhouette or adding some lighting in strategic places.
